Third-party websites accessible via our portal are not subject to the principles set out herein. We assume no responsibility for the data protection compliance of third-party websites.

Cookies, web analytics services and social media

Information that can identify you can be stored on your computer. This information is called cookies. These text files stored on your hard disk allow us to recognize you as a registered customer and make it easier for you to use our website. You can review and delete the cookies stored on your computer and generally control the relationship with cookies via the settings of your Internet browser.

Most browsers accept cookies as a default setting. However, you can configure your browser to reject cookies or to request prior confirmation from you. Rejecting cookies may result in you not being able to fully use all the functions of our website.

Third party cookies

Through advertising partners or advertising networks, we place advertisements on other websites. These advertising partners use so-called third-party cookies that are activated when you visit progettoidea.ch and can only be retrieved by the respective advertising partner. These third-party cookies are used to measure the results and count the advertising campaigns carried out between us and the advertising partners. In this context, no personal data is stored, but only the call to the pages of progettoidea.ch via an advertising campaign activated by the advertising partner is recorded. Third-party cookies are temporarily stored cookies that remain stored in your browser after the last call for a maximum of 540 days, after which they automatically expire.

You can review and delete the cookies stored on your computer and generally control the relationship with cookies via the settings of your Internet browser. You can obtain more detailed information about this from the manufacturer or via the help function of your Internet browser. Please note that the functions of progettoidea.ch may be limited or not accessible if you do not authorize cookies.

Retargeting

We want to show you only advertisements that are actually of interest to you. For this reason, on progettoidea.ch we use the so-called "retargeting" technology, so that the advertising is tailored to your interests. When you visit progettoidea.ch, our retargeting partners store temporary cookies on your terminal via your Internet browser. The temporarily stored cookies enable our retargeting partners to recognize visitors to our shop again under a pseudonym and to only display advertisements for products that our visitors are likely to be interested in.

What data is collected?

Temporary cookies enable our retargeting partners to track and save the click path of our visitors under a pseudonym. In this context, only data about your use of progettoidea.ch is collected (e.g. number of page calls of progettoidea.ch, internal search requests, product page calls, login status, call of the order confirmation page). We do not pass on any personal data to these retargeting partners; however, the retargeting partners collect information about the use of our website in order to provide their services. The retargeting partners may combine the information collected from you with data from other websites you have visited and may use this data for their own purposes (e.g. to manage advertising on their partner sites). If you have registered with the relevant retargeting partner, they may be able to identify you.

How can I opt out of retargeting?

If you do not wish to receive personalized advertising messages via retargeting, you have one of the following options to object with effect for the future:

On the one hand, as with other third-party cookies, you can manage the use of cookies via your browser settings and, for example, accept the storage of temporary cookies only with your consent. Please read the section "Use of cookies" on this subject. Another option for objecting is to click on the opt-out link that appears in each of the retargeting advertising media used by our partners. This link is an "i" or the name of our service provider in grey on the respective advertising media. By clicking on the link, you will be taken to the page of our advertising partner where you can deactivate the advertising services. Please note that to deactivate retargeting, a so-called opt-out cookie will be stored on your terminal via your Internet browser. Your objection will therefore only be effective if you use the same Internet browser and accept this opt-out cookie without deleting it. If you then want to use a different Internet browser, please also use one of the two options for objecting with this browser.

You can delete these cookies via the so-called Google Tag Manager, used by this website, with a single link, to do so click here: Deactivate Google Analytics. This will provide you with the option to opt out for all Google Tag Manager tags via a cookie.

Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, your IP address will first be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide the website operator with further services relating to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be associated with any other data held by Google.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by a corresponding setting of your browser software. You can also prevent Google from recording the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en

We also use Google Analytics to statistically analyze data from the DoubleClick cookie. If you do not want this to happen, you can disable this function via the Ads Preferences Manager . We also use Google DoubleClick Floodlight tags to support online advertising and to analyze the use of our website. No personal data is transmitted to Google DoubleClick via these tags. Details on the handling of your data by DoubleClick, the use of cookies in this context, and a possible deactivation of cookies can be found in the DoubleClick data protection information at: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads?hl=en

Conversion Tracking with Facebook's Visitor Behavior Pixel

Within our website, we use the "visitor behavior pixel" of Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook") to measure the effectiveness of online marketing measures. With its help, we can track the behavior of users after they have viewed and/or clicked on a Facebook ad and subsequently placed an order. In this way, we can determine the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes. The data collected in this way is anonymous to us, meaning that we cannot see the personal data of individual users or link them to a user together with other information.

However, this data is stored and processed by Facebook. This allows Facebook to track the behavior of users who have clicked on an ad in the Facebook member area and have been directed to our site. By using cookies, i.e. text files that are stored on your computer, Facebook can ultimately recognize this user in the Facebook member area and optimize the effectiveness of advertising, e.g. by offering messages aimed at target groups, in accordance with the Facebook data usage guideline. This only concerns users who have a Facebook account and are logged in to the Facebook member area. Users who are not Facebook members are not affected by this data processing.

You can object to this data processing at the following link: http://www.aboutads.info/choices/

Web analytics services and social plugins

Our website uses the services of providers, in particular Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. USA, as well as the social plugins “like” / “mi piace” of Facebook Inc. USA (hereinafter “provider”). These services collect information and can use so-called “cookies”, i.e. text files that are stored on your computer and that allow an analysis of your use of our website. By using social plugins, buttons of the respective providers are displayed, e.g. the “Like” button from Facebook, or contents of the respective provider are integrated into the website. If you call up a website that uses such a social plugin, your browser establishes a connection to the respective provider. The content of the social plugin is transmitted to your browser by the respective provider and integrated by them into the respective website. The information generated by your use (including your IP address) is transmitted to the servers of these providers, nationally or internationally, where it is stored and processed and can possibly be assigned to your account with these providers. We have no influence on the processing of data by third-party providers. We therefore recommend that you check the respective data protection information of these third-party providers. Facebook's data protection information can be accessed here.

The providers may use this information to evaluate your use of our website, to compile reports on website activity for the website operators, to place display advertising (advertising banners) and to provide other services related to the use of the website and the Internet. The providers may also transmit this information to third parties, both nationally and internationally. You acknowledge and accept that there may be no adequate legal data protection abroad. By using this website, you declare that you agree to the use of cookies and similar technologies.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by making a corresponding setting in your browser software. You can also prevent Google from recording the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link Browser Plugin.
